Winter Bedtime Routine
Winter is the perfect time to slow down and reset. A simple bedtime routine helps your body unwind and your mind find calm essential for deep, restorative sleep.
Dim the lights. About an hour before bed, switch to soft, warm lighting to cue relaxation.
Unplug. Put away screens at least 30 minutes before sleep. Try reading, journalling, or gentle stretches instead.
Warm up, then cool down. A hot bath or shower relaxes muscles and helps the body prepare for rest.
Breathe and release. A few slow, mindful breaths calm the nervous system and quiet the mind.
Create a cosy sleep space. Keep your room cool, dark and clutter-free. Fresh sheets, soft blankets and soothing scents make it inviting.
Sleep is self-care especially in winter. Let your evenings become a gentle ritual to restore, recharge, and find balance.
