In our quest to showcase experts in alternative fields, we are thrilled to introduce Pip Zingg as our feature for this month. Pip's passion and expertise lie in the realm of Reflexology, an ancient practice that harnesses the healing power of pressure points on the feet and hands.
We asked Pip, a few questions to learn more about the transformative effects of Reflexology.

Pip Zingg

Pip, tell us a little about yourself.

Hi, Iā€™m a fully qualified reflexologist (hands and feet) and an approved practitioner for Reflexology Lymph Drainage, working from a beautiful, relaxing space in Fovant, Wiltshire.

I trained with the award winning tutors, Jackie James at Calming Influences and Sally Kay at Reflexology Lymph Drainage. I am a member of the Association of Reflexologists. You can also find me on the NHS Complementary Therapist Search .

What is your Expertise?

1. Lymphatic Drainage through Reflexology (RLD) - an award winning, evidence based reflexology technique which focuses on stimulating the lymphatic reflexes on the feet.

2. Traditional Reflexology

Tell us a little bit more detail.

RLD aims to cause an effect on the lymphatic system in the body.  It is a unique sequence that has been researched and developed through working in Breast Cancer Care.  RLD may be used similarly to Lymphatic drainage massage in the cases of lymphoedema but may also be used with many other non-cancer, auto-immune disorders such as Rheumatoid Arthritis, Fibromyalgia, allergies and migraines.  It may also be useful for many other inflammatory conditions; asthma - eczema - chronic fatigue - ME - sinus issues - muscular tension - post operative healing, oedema and aches and pains.

Traditional Reflexology - a deeply relaxing therapeutic treatment which releases tension, improves your mood, aids sleep and promotes wellbeing.  A treatment will increase your circulation, eliminate toxins and balance your body, leaving you feeling refreshed, lighter and incredibly relaxed.  The aim is to create homeostasis.
